PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation exam

Exam format - Objective Test Questions (OTQs), offering you four choices, from which you must select the correct answer.
- Distractors (wrong answers) are options that candidates with incomplete knowledge or skill would likely choose. These are generally plausible responses to the assessment criteria being examined.
- The question styles used within this type are ‘standard’, ‘list’ (2 correct items), and, as an exception, ‘negative’ standard OTQ.
Number of questions - 50
- Each question is worth 1 mark.
- There are 50 marks available. (There are no ‘trial’ questions.)
Duration - 1 hour
- Candidates taking the exam in a language other than their native or working language may be awarded 25% extra time, i.e. 75 minutes in total.
Pass mark - 28/50 (55%).
Material allowed - This is a ‘closed book’ examination.
- No materials other than the examination materials are permitted.

PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Exam

Exam format - The examination is scenario-based, i.e. the questions relate to a case study, referred to as the ‘Scenario’.
Number of questions - 50.
- The Question Booklet contains 5 sets of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), each testing particular learning outcomes from the candidate’s course of study.
- Each question is worth 1 mark.
Duration - 2 hours 30 minutes.
Pass mark - 30/50 (60%).
Material allowed - An official copy of the PRINCE2 Agile® Guidance is allowed.
- As the examination is an ‘open book’ exam, you can use the PRINCE2 Agile guide for reference during the examination.

The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course requires no prior qualifications. Even if you have no previous knowledge of PRINCE2, you can enrol in the certification, as all necessary principles will be thoroughly covered during the training sessions.
